It is for this reason that we believe that it is important that children begin to bring work home from a young age. This enables you to help your child learn and for them to see parents and teachers working together.

We appreciate how important the links between home and school are, and the need for us to work together to ensure good education for young children. It is for this reason that we believe that it is important that children begin to bring work home from a young age. This enables you to help your child learn and for them to see parents and teachers working together.

Our approach to homework varies throughout the school, according to the age of the child. The one thing that remains constant throughout is the fact that it can only benefit the child if we have your support. The most important aspect of children’s work is their attitude. If they are keen, interested and take pride in their work, then whatever their ability, they will steadily improve. By working together we can support all aspects of learning.

Our Homework Policy has lots of ideas and inspiration for how you can support your child at home with the various curriculum areas, from the EarlyYears to Year 6.
