Governance

The Governing Body is made up of people acting in a voluntary capacity who have a collective responsibility for the way Alexandra Primary School is run. Governors do not get involved in the day to day running of the school. The role is one of ‘critical friend’, asking questions and providing challenge and support in any areas in which we have expertise.

The Full Governing Body meets at least five times a year. The Committees meet in between each of the main meetings and Chairs of these committees report back to the Full Governing Body at each meeting. Currently we have 3 separate committees:
