- Salary: PO4 spine point 35 – 38 (£47,532 – £50,574 FTE)
- Term time only 38 weeks per year, 36 hours per week

Alexandra is a vibrant two-form entry Primary School with a Nursery situated in Wood Green, North London. We are proud to be culturally diverse and have a strong inclusive ethos. In September 2025 we will be opening a Resourced Provision for ten Primary pupils with SEMHD. We are looking for an innovative, highly organised and proactive School Business Manager to join our ambitious Leadership Team and make a positive difference to the lives of our school community.
We Are Looking For:
- A motivated, self-starting individual with strong financial and organisational skills
- Previous experience in school business management, financial management or similar
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work collaboratively and strategically within a busy school environment

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the strategy and operation of the business functions of our school, including:
- Driving improvement of the school and working with the Headteacher to meet our educational aims
- Oversee the school’s financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Strategic leadership in financial growth and management to ensure long-term sustainability
- Overseeing site and premises services
- Liaising directly with catering providers and staff
- Building effective relationships with business partnerships and the local community
- Generating income through funding sources including applications for grants
- Management of the office and premises team to support a culture of excellence and efficiency
- Involvement in Community Events and contributing to the wider life of the school
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and school policies

In September 2025 we will be opening a Resourced Provision for ten Primary pupils with SEMHD. We are looking for a skilled, passionate and committed individual to teach in the provision and ensure our most vulnerable learners have the opportunity to succeed.
The Role:
The Teacher in the Resourced Provision will be responsible for the academic progress and pastoral support of the pupils in the provision. You will be the lead practitioner in the provision and work with a Learning Mentor and specialist TAs. You will provide;
- Pastoral support for pupils in the provision, addressing social and emotional barriers to learning.
- Intensive academic support, planning and teaching groups and one-to-one learning interventions and lessons.
- Engagement strategies and behaviour support, helping students participate in school activities inside and outside the classroom.
- Collaborative problem solving, working with staff in the main school and outside agencies.
We are looking for:
- A highly skilled and adaptable classroom practitioner with strong pedagogical knowledge & understanding.
- A deep commitment to improving the life chances and educational outcomes of children at risk of exclusion.
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to building strong relationships with children, staff, families and external agencies.
- A practitioner who is highly organised with a proven track record of effective SEND provision, preferably working successfully with pupils with SEMHD.
- A strong knowledge of trauma informed practice, relational approaches and desire to work with challenging behaviour.
- A passion for personal growth and professional learning.
- A resilient individual who is calm under pressure.

The Role:
The Resourced Provision Learning Mentor will be an integral part of the teaching team in the provision and Inclusion
Team at Alexandra, you will provide:
