The Year 4’s explored their local environment – Barratt Gardens to investigate and observe the types of minibeasts and plants in their natural habitat.
“I saw flying ants and spiders. The spiders were in their webs waiting for their prey.” – Harley
“The purple flowers, which I believe is lavender smelt so nice. They provided shade and is a habitat for many types of bugs.” Alex
“Using the magnifying glass to look closely at the living things around us looked cool. My partner, Serhat was in charge of drawing diagrams. I felt like a scientist.” – Deyvid
“There were so many worms! I think there were so many worms because it rained yesterday and this morning and they were looking for a drink of water”. – Samuel
