Windrush Wonder Art
Colombia Class are participating in the Windrush Wonder Art project which explores and celebrates the Windrush stories and uses these as an inspiration for art works. The first stage of this project was for Colombia Class to visit Collage Arts, a grassroots arts organisation around the corner from the school. There we participated in a workshop where we learnt a little about the story of the Windrush and explored how it might feel to move from somewhere familiar to somewhere completely different. Soon, an artist will visit the school to work with Colombia Class to produce art work inspired by the story of the Windrush.
