SCHOOL UPDATE THURSDAY 7th MAY
No doubt, you will have recently heard and read much in the media about the government’s plans to ease the current lockdown. We are all eagerly waiting for confirmation on Sunday as to how the lockdown may begin to ease. Regarding plans for the school potentially opening again, we will await official guidance before we formulate a clear plan. As soon as announcements are made by the government about plans for schools, we will begin to communicate with families how we propose to move forward.
We will continue to make calls home to check in with our families; during these calls, if you have any queries or concerns please inform the member of staff making the call. They can then share the information and help to find the right way to help resolve these issues. If you are struggling to access the Home Learning or have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office for support via email admin@alexprimary.haringey.sch.uk or call 020 8888 9771. We have added a document on the website news feed outlining how to access the Home Learning on the website along with other links that you can access to help give you support at this time.
Free School Meal families – By now you should be redeeming your weekly shopping vouchers that are being sent via email by Edenred. Accessing the vouchers has proved to be very difficult for many of our families and we apologise for this. We have been assured by Edenred that the voucher errors have now been resolved. Please remember to check your junk or spam email box if you haven’t received your email, as quite often this is where they are ending up.
If you are still experiencing difficulties, please email the school office: admin@alexprimary.haringey.sch.uk and include your child’s name and the error message you are receiving and we will look into the issue further. Thank you for your continued patience.
