Health, fun and fitness week
25th – 29th June
This year we will be celebrating national sports week with a variety of fun activities designed to get all children at Alexandra up and moving! We will also be focusing on healthy eating, which foods to eat lots of and which foods to eat in moderation. You can look forward to the following activities!
Monday 25th June: Years 4 – 6 volleyball session with a coach
KS1 to run a mile
Tuesday 26th June: Reception sports day
Wednesday 27th June: Year 3 football tournament at St Michael’s school
KS2 to run a mile
Thursday 28th June: KS2 sports day
Friday 29th June KS1 sports day
Throughout the week we will also have sporting challenges taking place during lunchtimes, in class lessons focused on how to stay healthy as well as opportunities for children to try and taste new fruit and vegetables.
