20 Sep Year 6 Song-writing Workshop
Year 6 had the amazing opportunity to go to Collage Arts, just round the corner from us, to participate in one of their Collage Voices songwriting workshops. They had the pleasure of working with Musical artist Kevin Mark Trail who is a British R&B, soul, reggae and hip hop artist. He rose to fame by appearing on two tracks on The Streets debut album. Year 6 had the opportunity to not only create their own song in small groups but also record this in the studio.
Collage Voices run weekly Saturday sessions for children and young people in creative writing, digital music, singing/ songwriting, drama and physical theatre for just £2 per session. Classes are fun and relaxed and run by experienced industry professionals. No previous experience necessary, all are welcome. Get in touch with Rocio at voices@collage-arts.org to find out more. @CollageVoices, www.collage-arts.org
