12 Oct Year 6 PGL Trip – The end of day 4
Hello from Suffolk.
We cannot believe our last full day is over. Today’s activities put us to the test as always, everyone abseiled (even Ms Dulay) and we put our teamwork to the test in ‘survivor’ and ‘sensory trail’.
In sensory trail everyone was blind folded and the children had to work their way round an assault course working together and depending on each other. This was amazing to watch and once again we were all so impressed with the level of communication and team spirit.
Unsurprisingly, the disco tonight was a treat for all. Everyone looked very smart and danced the night away. The teachers decided our end of year show really will be an extravaganza because the dance moves were fantastic.
This is our last update as this time tomorrow the children will all be home and perhaps fast asleep?! No doubt they will be very tired this weekend but full of stories and hopefully, a new found confidence. They have all succeed in becoming more independent over the week and we hope this shows at home too.
We cannot say it enough, we are so proud of all of the children. They really have pushed themselves out of their comfort zones and in the process represented themselves, you and the school so well.
Thank you all for not only letting your children experience this but us too!
